“Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand;  do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:4-7 I love this verse because it reminds me to be joyful and to always turn to God in prayer. God will hear me and keep me in His loving care through Jesus my Savior.

I grew up in Lutheran schools with both parents serving as teachers while attending schools on the east coast, west coast and in the middle. Because of this, serving in lutheran schools and sharing Jesus with young children has a special place in my heart.
When I am not working at school, I enjoy many activities such as spending time with my family and friends, going new places, cooking or baking, reading, and trying to remain active (preferably) outside.

“May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.” Psalm 19:14 It is so important to remember that your words and actions tell who you are. As Christians, people are always watching, it is important that we show who we are and what we believe by our words and actions.
