Speaker Series 2018

Welcome Center | 7:00-8:15 pm | Wednesdays in January

January 17:  Rev. Monte Haun, Chaplain, Lutheran Senior Services

Rev. Monte Haun is a member of Zion and has been a teacher in our Higher Education ministry on Sunday mornings and leads a school/church staff Bible study this school year.  His role as the chaplain for those served by Lutheran Senior Services gives him a unique perspective on what our church body is doing to serve those in their senior years.  Not only will we learn about the many resources available through this part of our church, but we will also examine ways to be involved in this special ministry.  Volunteer opportunities will be discussed along with ways to avail our grandparents, parents, and ourselves to Lutheran Senior Services.

January 24: Rev. Micah Glenn, LCMS Missionary to North St. Louis and Ferguson

Come to this presentation to learn about the challenges facing people in our greater community.
