Higher Ed – Sundays at 9:30 am

Join us for coffee, donuts and a GREAT Bible study every Sunday at 9:30 am.  Two great classes offered through June 2018.

  • “One Christ, Many Creeds”  So many different Christian denominations…but why?  How did they develop?  Don Hugo will lead us through a study that examines many of these denominations from a Lutheran perspective.  Join us downstairs this Sunday as we begin with the Ancient Churches, specifically Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox and Coptic Orthodox churches.  Next week, we’ll look at the Calvinist churches—Presbyterians and Christian Reformed churches.  Bring your questions!

  • “The Mount Rushmore of Lutheran Hymn Writers” Singing hymns is one of the marks of Lutheran worship.  In this course, participants will be introduced to four key hymn writers: Martin Luther, Paul Gerhardt, Jaroslav J. Vajda, and Stephen P. Starke.  Come and learn about these amazing hymn writers and sing a few of their tunes!  Led by Mark Thoelke, this four week study will begin next Sunday, June 3.
